Description
The Tavern Spinners & Weavers Guild is a lively group of women and men who share a love of weaving, spinning and other fiber crafts. In our on-site studio, we have at least 7 looms which we use to create a continual supply of dish towels, as well as other handwoven items. Each week, our studio is open for members on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. We always welcome visitors who would like to check us out.
In addition, on the 2nd Friday of each month, one of our members hosts a Spinning on the Porch when members and visitors come together to sit and spin. If you would like to learn to spin, please join us on the porch (or inside when the weather is uncooperative).
