Tavern Meeting Building Rentals
The Tavern Meeting Building is available for meetings and gatherings. The facility features a spacious area, restrooms, and a warming kitchen. Maximum capacity is 125; however, we recommend no more than 100 attendees for all to be comfortable. Rentals include 25 folding tables and 90 chairs. The renter is responsible for setting up any chairs and tables and for replacing them as they were found.
We welcome community use of the Meeting Building but do ask that rules be followed.
- Renters are responsible for removing all trash, decorations (including tape and tacks in walls and ceiling), and personal items after the event.
- Decorations must not contain glitter or cause damage to building surfaces.
- Trash cans with liners are provided; additional bags should be brought as needed. Renters may not use the Tavern’s dumpsters and must remove all trash from the premises.
Rental Rates
- Full day $350, half day $175
- Members: $300 full day / $150 half day
- Northumberland County agencies: No charge
- Nonprofit organizations: Suggested $50 donation
Reservation Process
Reservations are taken by email or phone, and payments can be made online. Full payment is required to confirm the booking. If payment is by check, the reservation is not confirmed until payment is received.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations 30 days or more in advance of the reservation date, the full fee will be refunded. For cancellations with less than 30 days’ notice, one-half of the fee will be refunded.
Access and Departure

- Keys may be picked up during Tavern hours (Thursday–Saturday, 10 AM–2 PM) or by special arrangement.
- After your event, please:
- Take all trash with you; do not deposit in the Tavern dumpster

- Reset thermostats
- Clean floors and remove debris
- Remove all signage and decorations from the buildings and grounds
- Lock the building from outside the door, and return the key
